PT and OT Services for All Ages
East Mountain Physical Therapy staff and therapists have the experience and training to treat any pain problem or rehabilitation need you may have. They utilize hands-on treatment to reestablish correct postural alignment and specific exercise programs to maintain flexibility and strength of the body. Plus, they don't just treat your pain - they show you how to keep it from coming back. Their treatment options include:
Manual Therapy - This includes joint and soft-tissue mobilization, myofascial release, massage therapy and manual traction, and other specialized hands-on techniques.
Electrical Stimulation - To decrease pain and swelling and facilitate faster healing.
Ultrasound - To create a deep heating effect that can reduce pain spasm and joint stiffness in addition to increasing flexibility of muscles, tendons and ligaments.
Iontophoresis - These treatments utilize topical medication to help reduce the symptoms of tendonitis and bursitis.
Therapeutic Exercise and On-Site Rehabilitation - Strengthening, balance, and cardiovascular equipment are available at all three East Mountain Physical Therapy centers. Neurodevelopmental techniques, sensory integration, and parent education are provided by a pediatric specialist. Specialized programs and techniques are available for patients with chronic pain.
